Arrr Matey!

A treasure chest I'm crocheting for no reason other than I really wanted a crocheted treasure chest :)
Here's the yarn I chose for the wooden sides.

Couple of the sides that are done.

Scarf in Progress

Here's a Christmas scarf I'm about half way done with.  The yarn is pretty odd, as you can see in the second picture.  It turns out all squishy and soft when it's all said and done.  It's slow going to crochet, as those wholes are hard to find when it's all curling up on ya.  I'll have a finished pic when I'm done.   -LMW (aka Queeny)

Christmas tree I'm working on

A Crocheted tree i'm working on.  I had originally planned to pin beads to it for ornaments, but i found these lovely things instead for half the price of the beads.

I clipped off the bead a little ways down the stem and attached it to a stake that florists use, then pushed that into the tree.  They're turning out good so far :)  LMW

For our Heros

So I was going through some of my charms and buttons and ran across some that are hero themed.  So an idea popped into my crazy head about making dream catchers with them for anyone who has someone in the military.  I have an idea about what to use for the finishing touch but I'm keeping that a secret right now.  Here is what I am going to be working with.

I am making 2 different ones because I had 2 packages of the buttons.  They will be completely different because of the items I'm using on them.

The daisy is done

Well here is the finished dream catcher I made for my friend Deb.  I know the pics might not be that great but my light box is not finished.  Enjoy.

Gift in progress

I have had this idea for a dream catcher after seeing some daisy buttons I had laying around.  My good friend loves daisies so I decided to make it for her.  It's been sitting in my house half finished for a while because my chronic pain has been acting up and I've had no strength in my hands to finish it.  I came across it a few days ago and thought about how I needed to finish it.  So here is what I have so far and I'm going to work through the pain to finish it.  You will not get the best of me pain, I shall defeat you, then take a nap.

Our business logo

Here is our logo designed by Patrick Hall from my work.  I love what he did with just an idea from me.  All I did to finish it off is add the company name to the top of the image.

Here's an idea I'm working on.  An amigurumi Beholder.  For those of you who don't know what a Beholder is, it is a Dungeons and Dragons monster. I have included a picture of a plastic miniature of one above. Basically, it's a large floating eyeball with eyestalks that shoot bad things at you.

I'm trying to figure out how to attach eyeballs to it.  I can glue little google eyes all over it, but they can come off too easy.  I may try little safety eyes, but I'm not sure how they will attach on such small stalks.  I also think I'm going to make the stalks longer.  They're a little too short in my opinion.

I think I will use a large safety eye for the large central eye, that way I can either paint the colors I choose on it, or I might be able to find some funky ones that I like for it.

Ah well, it's a work in progress.
Getting some products ready for the store, and testing out this whole blog business.  Here's my little Cthulhu. He will be available in a variety of colors.
